Trish begins training herself to use her new powers, but her hopes for becoming a street-level hero are complicated by her fame.

After surviving a stabbing Jessica finds herself in a weakened state, but sets her sights on her suspect anyway. Hogarth reconnects with an old flame, and tasks Malcolm with digging up dirt on her husband.

When Jessica realizes she wasn't her potential assassin's target, she teams up with Erik Gelden to try and find the perpetrator ... leading to a series of dead-ends with various criminals. Malcolm gives Hogarth the ammunition she's been looking for.

Jessica asks for Trish's help in catching Gregory Sallinger, a ruthless and cunning murderer, but the two must first get past their personal friction. Meanwhile Malcolm has to lie low after Hogarth exploits dirt on Kith's husband.

Jessica and Trish's momentary victory is cut short by the discovery that the killer has captured Erik. While Hogarth does damage control Malcolm tries to find Erik's sister before she is taken too.

After Jeri Hogarth signs on as Sallinger's defense attorney Jessica goes to the killer's home town, determined to prove his involvement in the death of his brother.

Trish's dalliance with the paparazzi complicates the police's attempt to bring a killer. Zaya covers for Malcolm, and Hogarth puts the city's new masked vigilante in her crosshairs.

After a brutal attack on Sallinger, Jessica tries to protect Trish – and her secret identity – from the law. As Hogarth rationalizes her ongoing support for a serial killer, she receives a visit from Kith's son.

When Jessica is questioned by the police in connection with the murder of a cop, she suspects Erik may have something to do with it. Kith agrees to let Hogarth help her out of a legal pinch, and Jessica and Trish prepare for a funeral.

After she is stopped from killing Sallinger Trish sets out to play her version of hero by going after a dirty cop.

Trish crosses a line, forcing Jessica to protect Sallinger from her before she loses herself.

Jessica faces the hardest job of her life when she is convinced that she has to bring in Trish for murder. But the city's newest vigilante is not going to make it easy for her. Meanwhile, Jeri comes clean with Kith.
