The Winter Olympics are now airing nightly on NBC, making for a light couple of weeks across the board. NBC’s genre shows like Revolution and Grimm are on vacation. Meanwhile, competition on other networks also heads into reruns.
But genre shows keep rolling on cable this week, with Monday night especially heavy. The Walking Dead is back with the second episode of the winter season. And the new BBC fantasy hit Atlantis wraps up its first season in the U.S. this week.
Here’s your day-by-day schedule for what’s NEW this week in science fiction and fantasy television:
“Perception.” When Detective Kennex and Dorian investigate the simultaneous and sudden deaths of two genetically-enhanced children, a fatal dose of the perfect designer drug appears to be the cause.
“Bitten.” Elena is overwhelmed with memories of her romance with Clay, including the day she was bitten by a werewolf, as she defends him against murder accusations. At the same time, Clay’s character is put into question when former Pack member Daniel Santos shows up with information on the Mutt uprising.
“Pack It Up, Pack It In.” Kenny joins Aidan for a night of drinking away sorrows; Josh and Nora throw a baby shower for their new wolf friends, but things quickly get out of hand; and Sally uses her time-jumping abilities to learn more about her roomies.
“Let the Dark Times Roll.” Bo’s quest for answers leads the gang to a Dark Fae party, with a dangerous guest list. Meanwhile, Trick is summoned to appear before the Una Mens.
“Riddled.” Stiles goes missing; Scott and the others set off on a search; Lydia tries to master her new abilities.
The Vampire Diaries returns after the Olympics.
Grimm return after the Olympics.
“Survivor Zero.” Daniel makes a discovery; Hatake protects Walker from Sutton’s mercenaries.

“Touched By The Gods, Part 2.” Minos’ health continues to fade as Pasiphae’s scheming reaches its zenith. She sentences Ariadne to a gruesome execution not even the worst of enemies would deserve. Now that the court’s loyalty is with the queen, Jason is Ariadne’s last hope.
“Inmates.” In the quest for stability and safety, the group faces many obstacles.
