A high school student survives a mass killing at a church, and a war veteran considers taking up the mantle of a masked vigilante.

Noah and Quentin travel to Odessa in search of answers, while Tommy's bully demands that he use his power to do him a favor. A New York woman is in over her head when she tries to hustle a telekinetic, and Luke and Joanne find themselves trapped in a child's bedroom. Meanwhile, Miko enters the world of a video game in the hopes of rescuing her missing father.

While Noah and Quentin search for Molly, CEO Erica Kravid prepares to reveal Renautas' new Evo-related technology. Luke makes a personal discovery that leaves him terrified, and Tommy clashes with his protective mother. Meanwhile, Miko finds herself at the mercy of Renautas.

While Noah and Quentin try to turn Taylor against her mother, an increasingly disillusioned Luke debates sharing his secret with Joanne. Miko and Ren travel to the United States, and Tommy risks exposure in the hopes of saving his mother's life. Elsewhere, Malina and her companion head south.

The authorities close in on Tommy, while Miko tries to recover her sword from Renautas headquarters. Luke returns home to confront his past, and Malina's journey lead her straight into the path of Erica's forces.

Miko must overcome Erica's interference to infiltrate a hidden temple and rescue her father, while Noah and Quentin risk everything to rescue Hiro Nakamura from Renautas. Carlos takes a road trip with his captive, and a frustrated Tommy takes Emily to Paris. Elsewhere, Malina must act to save the life of another Evo.

Noah and Hiro return to the tragic day one year ago in Odessa, where Mohinder Suresh has received a warning from Angela Petrelli about an impending extinction event and Erica Kravid's plans. Luke and Joanne come to Odessa in the hope of finding help for their son, and Noah makes a shocking discovery about Claire's final fate.

After the devastation in Texas Angela and Hiro embark on a long-term plan to save the world through two Evo children. Hachiro Otomo undermines Erica's plans by creating a backdoor into Evernow, while Quentin confronts Erica about his missing sister. Meanwhile, Joanne and Luke turn their grief into a hatred for Evos.

Carlos and Dearing infiltrate Sunstone Manor, where Renautas is collecting Evos they can exploit -- including Carlos' young nephew. Taylor makes contact with an underground movement, and Joanna threatens Emily to get to Tommy -- whose mother has revealed his true identity to him.

Erica Kravid tries to convince Tommy to help her with her plan to build a better future, while Taylor leads a mission to rescue Micah Sanders from Sunstone. Matt Parkman uses Carlos to try and squeeze intel out of a captive Farah, and Miko finds herself in the far future.

Inside the walls of Sunstone Manor Carlos and Farah go in search of a captive Micah Sanders, while Taylor fights against a powerful telepath. As Renautas's forces close in on Malina, Luke faces a difficult choice. Meanwhile Tommy continues to work with Erica, while secretly helping Miko undermine her plans.

As news breaks that the Earth is facing a global extinction event, Renautas uses Tommy to begin sending its people into the distant future. Erica Kravid recalls her disturbing past as Matt and Taylor confront her, and Luke and Malina search for a way to reunite with Tommy.

Trapped inside the multi-dimensional corridors of Evernow, Tommy sees his place in the prophecy -- while Emily and Ren look for the one person who they think can free him. Luke makes a sacrifice to protect Malina, and Noah Bennet discovers the part he has to play in saving the world.
