Sci-Fi This Week: The Flash Faces The Race Of His Life

Find out what’s airing in science fiction and fantasy

The season finales roll on this week as four of our favorite sci-fi and fantasy series reach the end of the road for this year. At the top of them all: Season Two of The Flash, which has retained all the magic of the show’s first year and ratcheted up the heroes, the villains, and the intrigue.

This season has been all about the evil Zoom, a murderous speedster from Earth-2 who is bent on conquering the planets — and proving that he is the true “fastest man alive.” Everything is on the line this week when Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) challenges Barry to a footrace, and reveals the depths of his true agenda.

And who is the man in the iron mask?

Also this week: Oliver has one final chance to stop Damien Darhk from destroying the city in the season finale of Arrow. Jaime takes on the High Sparrow on a new Game of Thrones, and all hell is about to break loose on the second season finale of Gotham.
