Sci-Fi This Week: Arrow And The Flash Return!

Find out what’s airing in science fiction and fantasy this week

DC Comics’ one-two punch is back with new episodes on The CW this week! First up it’s The Flash, and the Star Labs team may be about to uncover Dr. Wells’ secret identity. Then on Arrow, Oliver returns home to consider Ra’s al Ghul’s recent offer — but finds a new villain plaguing Starling City.

The CW is reportedly exploring a third DC show — a team-up featuring the likes of Atom (Ray Palmer, played on Arrow by Brandon Routh), Canary (Sara Lance, played by Caity Lotz), Dr. Martin Stein (played by Victor Garber), and Captain Cold (Leonard Snart, played by Wentworth Miller). It sounds like an idea in need of refining (and maybe the other half of Firestorm, Robbie Amell), but it could make for an epic superhero season next year.

Also this week: Grimm is also back, and Monroe and Rosalee go undercover to try and help Nick and Hank with a case. Skye’s dad assembles a team of super-villains to exact revenge on Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and on Helix Sister Amy has a new plan to secure her immortality.
