Sci-Fi This Week: Syfy Opens Monday Block, CW Shows Return

If you’re a fan of science fiction and fantasy TV, Mondays just got very busy!

This week Syfy Channel launches its new Monday night block for the winter season, adding three shows to our weekly genre schedule. Being Human returns for its fourth season; Lost Girl Season Four arrives in the U.S. (it’s already airing in Canada), and the new Canadian she-wolf series Bitten begins. Mondays are especially packed, with six genre shows airing (up until Sleepy Hollow bows out next week).

Meanwhile all of The CW genre shows that we track return this week after the holiday hiatus, with the exception of The Vampire Diaries (which returns next week). And there’s new episodes of our other current favorites, too!

Get ready for winter sci-fi.

ALMOST HUMAN

“You Are Here.” Det. Kennex and Dorian investigate a crime scene involving a self-guided bullet that can track, target and kill specific people at any moment. Meanwhile, Maldonado revisits the deadly ambush that almost killed Kennex.

LOST GIRL
Syfy, 8/7c
“In Memoriam.” The gang takes on a case of stolen memory, only to discover they’re all forgetting something… or someone. Meanwhile, the new Morrigan is hell-bent on making sure some memories stay buried forever.

SLEEPY HOLLOW
FOX, 9/8c
“The Vessel.” Captain Irving pleads with Crane and Abbie for help when his daughter becomes the target of evil forces, and seeks the answers that lie within Washington’s Bible.

BEING HUMAN
Syfy, 9/8c
“Old Dogs, New Tricks.” With Nora and Aidan living together in the woods, Josh is stuck inside his wolf. Sally finds herself trapped with Donna in a mysterious place where she learns more about their magical connection.

TEEN WOLF

“More Bad Than Good.” An unlikely ally helps Derek and Peter.

“Seeds.” Coulson and May uncover startling information about Skye’s past, while the team is swept into a storm at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy.

“The Casket Girls.” Locals prepare to celebrate the annual Casket Girls Festival in the French Quarter. Meanwhile, Davina tries to free Cami from Klaus’s mind compulsion; and Hayley is forced to make a difficult decision after she receives an unexpected phone call.

SUPERNATURAL
The CW, 9/8c
“Road Trip.” Dean hunts the angel who killed Kevin and tries to separate Sam’s brain from an angel’s mind in order to expel Gadreel. However, the only person who knows how to do that is Crowley.

REVOLUTION
NBC, 8/7c
“Mis Dos Padres.” Monroe finds himself in unfamiliar territory and must make a choice about his son, Conner, whilst Neville and Julia continue to tango at Jason’s dismay. Meanwhile, Gene leads Charlie to an uneasy discovery.

ARROW

“Blast Radius.” When Starling City is victimized by a bomber, Oliver hunts down the man who is calling himself “Shrapnel.”

THE TOMORROW PEOPLE
The CW, 9/8c
“The Citadel.” With a new lead on Ultra’s top-secret research lab, The Tomorrow People devise a dangerous plan to free everyone who is being held captive there.

GRIMM
NBC, 9/8c
“The Good Soldier.” Nick and Hank are called to the gruesome murder of a veteran working in home security. During their investigation, they discover this might be one of several revenge killings regarding a horrifying cover-up involving members of the army and military contractors.

HELIX
Syfy, 10/9c
“274.” The team have every hope that the virus is contained, but unfortunately it continues to spread at an alarming rate; at the same time, some of the secrets the docs are keeping prove to be deadly.

ATLANTIS
BBC America, 9/8c
“Pandora’s Box.” Medusa is kidnapped by cruel moneylender Kyros, who will only return her alive if Hercules agrees to retrieve a precious artifact from the Underworld — a task that means certain death.
