The U.S.S. Voyager pursues a rogue Maquis vessel into the Badlands, where a powerful alien sweeps both ships 70,000 light years from Earth. The "Caretaker" begins experimenting on the crew to look for a way to reproduce.

The crew defends the planet Ocampa from the Kazon, and must take a drastic step that will leave them stranded in the Delta Quadrant. With the Maquis ship destroyed, the two crews decide to join forces aboard Voyager.

Paris is found guilty of murdering an alien dignitary, and is sentenced to relive the victim's final moments over and over for the rest of his life.

A transporter accident sends Ensign Kim to another dimension, where the locals mistake him for someone returned from the dead.

Voyager's crew encounters a planet of extremely hospitable people -- who refuse to share technology that could send the ship 40,000 light years closer to home.

When the crew finds Federation technology on board a damaged Kazon ship, Janeway and Chakotay learn that one of their own may be a traitor.

When crew members begin disappearing on the holodeck -- in a recreation of Beowulf -- the Doctor is sent on his first "away" mission to rescue them.

After Chakotay and Tuvok return from a near-fatal encounter with an alien ship, the crew realizes that a non-corporeal alien entity is possessing their bodies in an attempt to commandeer the ship.

Torres awakens in a Vidiian laboratory to discover that she has been transformed into a full Klingon, and exposed to the Phage in the hopes of finding a cure.

An ailing scientist tracks down Neelix on board Voyager, with news that the Talaxian may be suffering from a terminal illness. Neelix struggles with the scientist's presence, since the man was responsible for mass genocide during their war with his people.

Tuvok is charged with putting a group of failing former Maquis crew members through Starfleet basic training, while Torres and the engineering crew struggle with ship-wide systems failures resulting from infected bioneural gel packs.
