Sci-Fi This Week: The Expanse’s 2-Hour Finale

Find out what’s airing in science fiction and fantasy

Syfy’s new space drama The Expanse definitely made some noise this season, drawing significant buzz from critics and fans alike. This week the show brings its first season to a close with a 2-hour finale event, as secrets are revealed and Detective Miller’s search for Julie Mao reaches its end.

The show has already been renewed for a second season, which is currently tracking an early 2017 premiere on Syfy.

It’s a big week for our favorite shows, as Sleepy Hollow returns from its mid-season break with a new mission to save Abbie, and on Arrow Roy returns to Star City under difficult circumstances. The X-Files does a classic monster story, Supergirl squares off against a twisted version of herself, and Murphy plots against Jaha on The 100.

And let’s just point out that Friday’s new episode of Grimm wins the award for Best Episode Title of the season. (Scroll down to see what it is.)
