Sci-Fi This Week: Continuum Begins, Once Wonderland Ends

Find out what’s airing in science fiction and fantasy this week.

We’ve waited long enough! This week the new season of Continuum starts stateside, as Syfy premieres the show’s third season on Friday night. And on Sunday, Game of Thrones returns to HBO with a fourth season that promises to be truly epic.

Meanwhile ABC looks to be done with spin-off experiment Once Upon A Time In Wonderland: after lackluster ratings on Thursday nights, tonight’s final episode is being advertised as the “series finale.” So enjoy the final hour of Alice and her quest for a happily-ever-after with Cyrus.

Also this week: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns with Deathlok, Revolution heads into the heart of the Texas Republic, and the Evil Queen squares off with the Wicked Witch next weekend on Once Upon A Time!

“Caged.” Elena goes against her Alpha’s commands when she embraces her killer instinct to free Clay from captivity. Later, when confronted by Phillip, she’s forced to come to terms with her true identity.

Meanwhile, Stephen’s brother goes missing after Jedikiah forces Stephen to protect him.

“Origin.” Bo is reluctant to comply with her role in a prophecy foretold by an order of Knights, until advice from a surprising source helps her make a difficult decision.
TUESDAY
Agents of SHIELD (116) - End of the BeginningAGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

“End of the Beginning.” Agents Garrett and Triplett are back to help Coulson’s team track down S.H.I.E.L.D.’S nefarious enemy — the Clairvoyant. But will Deathlok destroy them all to protect his master’s identity?

“Earth Kills.” In a desperate attempt to treat Jasper’s festering wounds, Clarke, Finn and Wells set out in search of a seaweed antibiotic. Bellamy and his crew go hunting for food, and are joined by Charlotte, a lovable 13-year-old, who feels safe under Bellamy’s protection. A thick, acidic fog appears, forcing Clarke, Finn and Wells to seek shelter inside an ancient van.
THURSDAY
Once Upon A Time In WonderlandONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND

“And They Lived …” The all-powerful Jafar succeeds in making his father love him and forcing Anastasia into thinking she loves him. After Alice, Amara and Cyrus escape, Jafar imprisons the Jabberwocky and calls upon an army of dead soldiers to do his bidding. Meanwhile, Alice and the White Rabbit raise their own army to fight Jafar for the realm and a final confrontation between Alice and Jafar takes place at the Well of Wonders.

The Vampire Diaries returns to The CW April 17.

  • This is great to.see, but am I missing something? Continuum, Season 3 starts Friday, April 4, on syfy, according to u guys. Y no mention it in article? Pushed back premiere? Just wondering, curious more than anything.
