Sci-Fi This Week: Arrow Offers To Train Roy, Aidan Has A New Vampire Boss

With a handful of winter shows in repeats until February, this week is especially heavy in the monster and horror genre. Monday and Tuesday are wall-to-wall with vampires and werewolves. But then the superheroes kick in on Wednesday, as Oliver offers to train Roy to use his newfound powers on Arrow.

Syfy Channel is pulling the ol’ switch-a-roo this week, swapping Lost Girl (now 10/9c) and Bitten (now 8/7c) on Monday nights.

Next week we’ll hit February, which will see the return of Almost Human, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and The Walking Dead. So stay tuned!

“Happy Endings.” Monroe leads Connor and Charlie on a risky mission, as Miles and Rachel keep an eye on things in Willoughby. Meanwhile, Neville gets a new assignment and Aaron reunites with an old friend.

ARROW

“Tremors.” Arrow offers to train Roy so he can learn to control his newfound power, but Roy refuses to listen unless Arrow reveals his true identity. Meanwhile, the Bronze Tiger escapes from prison and steals Malcolm’s earthquake machine to sell to the highest bidder.

THE TOMORROW PEOPLE
The CW, 9/8c
“Sitting Ducks.” Stephen feels uneasy about his fellow trainee Hillary who has a secret agenda of her own. Stephen’s mom wants the family to go camping including her new boyfriend Peter, whom Stephen seems to be having a difficult time reading.

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES

“The Devil Inside.” Enzo brings Damon a gruesome present and insists that they bond by committing an act of revenge; Matt impulsively decides to throw a party; Caroline makes a stunning confession to Elena; Aaron tries to make amends for his family’s past misdeeds; Elena faces a life-threatening situation with only minutes to figure out how to save herself.

“The White Room.” Members of the CDC team come to the realization that nobody is who they seem to be at the base.
