Mack heads up a new S.H.I.E.L.D. that is working to get to the bottom of a series of strange dimensional incursions. While May and the others try to carry on with Coulson's legacy, in a distant part of the galaxy Daisy and Jemma lead a skeleton crew in search for Fitz.

The team pursues a man who looks exactly like Phil Coulson, who is leading a crew of interdimensional invaders who have come to Earth for mysterious reasons. Fitz's cover is blown on board an alien ship, where he and Enoch must prove their worth to avoid being spaced.

Stranded on the planet Kitson, Fitz and Enoch must risk it all in the local casino. Daisy, Jemma, and their team tangle with a hunter on Fitz's trail, leading them to a wild night on the town.

Now an up-and-coming tech mogul, Deke Shaw finds himself the latest target of Sarge and his team. Keller and Yo-Yo's relationship takes a dramatic turn while investigating a parasitic species.

Sarge interrogates May to see what she knows about his alter ego, revealing secrets about the group's mission on Earth. Meanwhile the Chronicoms deliver some bad news and an ultimatum to Enoch, Daisy, and Simmons.

Fitz and Simmons find themselves prisoners of the Chronicoms, whose mental prison provides a deeper level of closeness -- and force them to confront hidden truths.

Enoch, Simmons, and Fitz find themselves back on Kitson and in another life-or-death dilemma when they are caught by the casino owner. Sarge and his team arrive at S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters.

Daisy, May, and Deke learn more about Sarge's mission when they join his crew on a trip to confront the Shrike leader. On Izel's ship Fitz and Simmons draw closer to home, unaware of the true nature of their new comrade.

When Izel's ship arrives on Earth the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. find themselves in the middle of an old and bitter feud between Izel and Sarge -- with the future of the planet at stake.

The S.H.I.E.L.D. team regroups after Izel's mysterious disappearance, only to discover that the enemy is in their midst -- and turning them against one another in her mission to locate the Monoliths.

Izel's search for a doorway to her realm brings her to Benson, leaving Yo-Yo and Mack with few options. Daisy pushes Sarge to try and unleash the power that is inside him.

Izel summons Flint, a powered person from the future, to help reconstruct the Monoliths. Meanwhile S.H.I.E.L.D. sets course for the temple and an uncertain confrontation, holding out hope that they might find a way to bring Coulson back.

While Mack, Daisy, and Yo-Yo square off against a seemingly unstoppable foe, an army of alien entities prepare to invade through Izel's doorway. Back at the Lighthouse, Fitz and Simmons find the base under siege by Chronicom Hunters.
