Sci-Fi This Week: Sense8 Debuts On Netflix

Find out what’s airing in science fiction and fantasy this week

Netflix’s brand new science fiction series Sense8 finally makes its long-awaited bow this week! The intricate story from the Wachowskis (The Matrix) and J. Michael Straczynski (Babylon 5) follows eight strangers from all over the world who find themselves mentally connected, able to hear one another’s thoughts and share each other’s memories and abilities.

The entire series will be available starting on Friday, with 12 episodes in the first season. Take a look at the trailer below.

There’s more science fiction to come in June! Defiance and Falling Skies will be back, and we’ll also see the premieres of newcomers Killjoys, Dark Matter, and Humans. Stick with SciFi Stream for the latest.
