In the wake of a terrorist bombing in the city of Caprica, two families must deal with the loss of their loved ones: Joe Adams, a lawyer with ties to the mob, and Daniel Graystone, a wealthy scientist who believes he may have found a way to be with his deceased daughter again.

While Zoe struggles with her new condition inside a robotic body, Lacy is invited to Sister Clarice's house for an unusual meeting. Amanda continues to work through her grief, leading to a shocking public confession.

The Graystones deal with the fallout of Amanda's public confession, and the Adama brothers put the pressure on Daniel for another chance to see Joseph's daughter. Sister Clarice attempts to gain Lacy's confidence, hoping to find the program Zoe left behind.

Daniel Graystone agrees to go on a confrontational talk show to do damage control, not knowing that the Adamas are targeting his wife. A surprise inspection of the school brings Agent Durham closer to the STO cell leader.

Tamara goes looking for a woman who can help her escape the virtual world, and is forced to play a game of virtual espionage to steal from a wealthy player. Joseph tries to reconnect with his son after learning about his truancy, and Daniel faces a board that wants to oust him from his company.

Daniel Graystone's corporate rival confronts him about the theft of the M.C.P. chip. Sister Clarice visits the Graystone home in search of Zoe's avatar, and Lacy is introduced to a dangerous STO operative named Barnabas.

Joseph convinces Tamara's new friend to take him into the virtual world of New Cap City to find her. Meanwhile, Amanda begins to question her sanity after seeing her dead brother walking the streets, pulling her closer to Clarice. Zoe makes a new connection with her father's assistant.

Daniel presses Zoe to reveal herself after concluding she is inside the U-87, while his wife continues to fight the memory of her past. Having found new help inside the virtual world, Joseph continues the dangerous hunt for his missing daughter.

Sister Clarice faces a challenge to her leadership of STO on Caprica from Barnabas, who seeks to use Lacy as his pawn. Zoe plans the U-87's escape from the lab, and Tamara finally allows herself to be found by her father.

Sister Clarice visits the STO leadership on Gemenon to propose apotheosis, her plan to recruit with the promise of a virtual eternal life -- including a massive terrorist attack. Meanwhile, Daniel tries to regain control of his company by appealing to the Tauron mafia for support.

Lacy's relationship with Barnabas's cell fractures after she botches a bombing attempt, and Clarice returns to Caprica to retake control of the STO there. With aide from the Adamas, Daniel plays dirty with the members of his company board to let him back in.

Zoe goes searching for Tamara inside New Cap City and gets more than she bargained for. Elsewhere, Clarice holds Lacy captive in an attempt to gain intel on Zoe, and Daniel's plan to retake his company has unexpected consequences.

Sam Adama runs afoul of the competition while smuggling guns to Tauron. While Amanda tries to gain the trust of Clarice's family, Daniel creates an avatar of her to try and replicate the genius of Zoe's very human avatar.

Lacy arrives on Gemenon to join a group of young STO recruits only to be attacked en route. On Caprica, Daniel demands a meeting with the Guatrau after discovering that the Ha'la'tha is selling Cylons to terrorists, and Agent Durham reaches a roadblock with his covert informant.

Sam and Joseph Adama's childhood is revealed as the Guatrau welcomes them into his inner circle. Inside New Cap City, Zoe and Tamara find fame as a pair of "Avenging Angels." And Daniel Graystone discovers the Guatrau's plans for his future.

The Graystones go looking for their daughter inside V-world, but quickly learn they can't hope to reach her alone. Agent Durham and Amanda continue their dangerous liaison, while at the STO training camp, Lacy finds she has a special connection with the U-87.

The Graystones enter the virtual world created by Zoe, unaware that Clarice and her husbands are coming for them in the real world. Joseph and his family flee after the Guatrau learns what the Adama brothers are up to, and Sinclair warns Lacy that the STO leadership will kill her because of what she can do.

The Graystones flee from the authorities after they are accused of terrorism, and attempt to stop Clarice's plan to bomb the Atlas Arena. In the wake of a personal loss, the Adamas face the possibility of all-out war among the Taurons on Caprica.
