Sci-Fi This Week: S.H.I.E.L.D. Premiere And Two Favorites Return!

Find out what’s airing in science fiction and fantasy this week.

This week is the official start of the new 2013-2014 broadcast season, and it brings one huge new series premiere and the return of two of our favorite genre shows.

This season we’ll be kicking things off each Monday morning with “Sci-Fi This Week,” a quick look at what’s coming up in science fiction and fantasy. Stay tuned next week for the return of more shows, and lots of new premieres in October.

TUESDAY

ABC, 8/7c – Series Premiere!

“Pilot.” Agent Grant Ward is introduced to Level 7 of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division, helping to track a recently identified superhero.

WEDNESDAY

Revolution (201) - Born In the U.S.A.REVOLUTION
NBC, 8/7c – Season Premiere!

“Born In the U.S.A.” In the aftermath of a new catastrophe, Rachel encounters someone from her past while Tom and Jason go in search of a lost loved one. Charlie embarks on her own mission to the Plains Nation.

“Bad Blood.” Nathan and Dwight race to search for the trouble behind a series of exsanguinated corpses; Duke must convince his half-brother to leave Haven before he learns the truth of the Crocker family trouble.

SUNDAY

Once Upon A Time (301) - The Heart of the Truest BelieverONCE UPON A TIME
ABC, 8/7c – Season Premiere!

“The Heart of the Truest Believer.” Emma and the others embark on a voyage to Neverland, where they encounter a group of mermaids in their quest to rescue Henry from the infamous Peter Pan. Meanwhile, Henry is on the run from the Lost Boys, and Neal finds himself in the Enchanted Forest.
