Watch The First Trailer For FOX’s Batman Prequel Gotham

The very same day that FOX announced it has sent Gotham to series, we have the first trailer for the hot new show.

The 2-minute video is made up of shots from the pilot episode, and features Ben McKenzie (Southland) as Detective James Gordon — the future Commissioner Gordon. Read more about the series pick-up here.

The trailer gives us our first look at Jada Pinkett Smith’s character of Fish Mooney, and shows that the series will include the murder of Bruce Wayne’s parents right from the beginning. Also visible is actor Richard Kind (Stargate), who looks to be playing the mayor of the infamous city.
