Firefly‘s Sean Maher Is An Arrow Villain
The evil Shrapnel is the latest DC addition to the world of Arrow.
Firefly alum Sean Maher will guest star in an upcoming episode of The CW’s Arrow, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
He’ll play the villain in the tenth episode of Season Two (title currently unknown) — and for fans of the DC Comics universe, it’s a big one. Maher’s character is Mark Scheffer, a.k.a. DC supervillain Shrapnel. Sheffer is “a serial bomber who places Starling City in a grip of terror and threatens the life of Sebastian Blood (Kevin Alejandro).”
Maher played Dr. Simon Tam on the cult hit Firefly. His former co-star and on-screen sister, Summer Glau, is also on Arrow this season in the recurring role of Isabel Rochev.
