As Star Trek gets ready to make its grand return to the television format in January, there’s a movie to get to first.
Star Trek: Beyond hits theaters on July 22, the third feature film in the rebooted timeline from producer J.J. Abrams. This time director Justin Lin (The Fast & the Furious) steps in as director, as the story picks up well into the U.S.S. Enterprise‘s 5-year mission.
Tonight in Los Angeles Paramount hosted a special fan event on the studio lot, with more than 500 select fans and media in attendance — all culminating with the world debut of the movie’s second trailer. Take a look:
