Watch The Newest Trailer For Syfy’s Ascension
The miniseries event will air in December
Another close-up look at Syfy Channel’s miniseries event Ascension is here! We’re excited to see the new series not just because it looks like a cool story with a great cast, but because Ascension signals the cable channel’s official return to outer space.
The story follows a generational ship secretly built by the United States and launched in the 1960s, in the hope of finding a place for the human race to continue in the event of its annihilation on Earth. Now, five decades later, the USS Ascension is nearing the point of no return when one of its residents is mysteriously murdered.
Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica) stars alongside Brandon P. Bell, Brian Van Holt, Tiffany Lonsdale, Andrea Roth, Jacqueline Byers, and and P.J. Boudousqué. The show comes from writer-producer Philip Levens (Smallville).
