Geronimo! Watch TWO New Trailers For Doctor Who: ‘The Day of the Doctor’
The epic 50th anniversary special airs November 23 worldwide.
The BBC has unveiled two official trailers for “The Day of the Doctor,” the epic 50th anniversary special episode of Doctor Who.
Running at about 40 seconds, the first features wall-to-wall footage from the 75-minute episode — including shots of the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors (David Tennant and Matt Smith) together, lots of John Hurt’s Doctor, a mysterious gemstone, Daleks, an interstellar fleet, Clara and Rose, and more. Though the Doctor was worked hard to forget his former self, it looks like he may not be able to avoid joining forces with him.
The second trailer is longer, at 1 minute 20 seconds, and features more of the Doctors together, plus Zygons, dueling sonic screwdrivers, and more.
Finally, we also have a quick, 10-second preview clip titled “Elizabeth’s Credentials.”
“The Day of the Doctor” will air all over the world on Sunday, November 23. The simultaneous broadcast time has been set for 7:50 p.m. in the U.K., 2:50 p.m. on the East Coast of North America, and 11:50 a.m. on the West Coast.
