The CW’s Star-Crossed Signs Stephanie Jacobsen

The actress has previously appeared on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Actress Stephanie Jacobsen has signed on for a recurring role in the brand new science fiction series Star-Crossed.

She’ll play Eva, the biology teacher at Marshall High School — site of a high-profile integration of a group of aliens who settled on earth 10 years earlier. Eva knows a great deal about the aliens (called Atrians), and is said to be sympathetic to their cause.

The show follows two star-crossed lovers, the human girl Emery (Aimee Teegarden, Friday Night Lights) and Atrian Roman (Matt Lanter, 90210), who first met at the age of six when the aliens arrived on Earth.

Jacobsen may be most recognizable to sci-fi fans as future soldier Jesse Flores in the second season of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, or as Kendra Shaw in the Battlestar Galactica DVD movie Razor.

Also recently added to the show’s roster is Tahmoh Penikett (Battlestar Galactica, Dollhouse) and Johnathon Schaech (Ray Donovan). Penikett’s SEU (Sector Enforcement Unit) Officer Jack Beaumont is charged with supervision inside the Atrian settlement; Schaech’s is Roman’s uncle, Castor, who has a shady past as an Atrian militant. Castor claims to have changed his ways to become a more moderate leader, and has found political success within the Atrian sector.

Star-Crossed premieres in early 2014 on The CW. Check out a preview below, and stick with SciFi Stream for more on the new show!
