Continuum Season Three Set For March Premiere, April In U.S.

The new season starts April 4 on Syfy Channel. Watch the trailer!

One of our favorite sci-fi shows can’t get back on our TV set soon enough … but the wait is almost over for the return of Continuum!

Season Three begins Sunday, March 16 (9/8c) on Showcase in Canada, and Friday, April 4 (10/9c) on Syfy Channel in the United States. Check out the first trailer below.

Continuum follows Agent Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols) when she is sent back in time from the year 2077 to present-day Vancouver, where she must use her knowledge and skills to thwart the efforts of future terrorists Liber8.

When the show left off at the end of last season, Eric Sadler (Erik Knudsen) used the time-travel device to jump back and try to stop the murder of his girlfriend, Emily. Kiera, meanwhile, has been left at the mercy of the Freelancers — another group from the future, who seem to be imprisoning time travelers out of a desire to protect the timeline.
