Nolan searches for a missing Irisa as the new season opens this June
Ready for the return of Syfy’s newest hit? Defiance is back on our screens in a few months, and this week the network released the first, 15-second teaser for Season Two.
The show is set on a future Earth that has been transformed by the arrival of the Votans, a group of aliens who fled their dying world. In the frontier town of Defiance (formerly St. Louis), humans and Votans attempt to live together in a peaceful society — while some plot in secret for their own advancement.
Season One ended with Irisa missing, Nolan brought back from the dead, and the Earth Republic rolling into town after Datak defeated Amanda in the mayoral election.
Actor James Murray (Primeval) joins the show this year as Niles Pottinger, the replacement mayor from the Earth Republic.
