Jesse captures a man who she believes works for SkyNet, and has been sent back from the future -- though he claims to be someone else. Sarah falls ill and begins to experience disturbing nightmares.

The three dots lead Sarah to a tech start-up, where she poses as a wealthy investor to get her hands on a cutting-edge microchip. Ellison investigates a death at Zeira Corp that may have been caused by the company's new emerging A.I.

Cameron discovers records of a T-888 in the 1920s, and tries to figure out who he was and why he was there. Things turn ugly when Riley brings John to a party.

Derek and Sarah come to the aid of a family that has been targeted by a Terminator, who have a future link to Derek.

Sarah visits a UFO enthusiasts conference to find info on the three dots, leading her to a blogger who is in hiding. Riley makes a fateful choice after clashing with Jessi.

After waking up with a bullet in her leg Sarah kidnaps a doctor for help, with a vision of Kyle Reese keeping her company. John Henry surprises Ellison and Weaver with what he has learned about them.
