The death of a mysterious woman in Chicago links eight strangers from all over the world, including a Chicago cop, a lesbian in San Francisco, a Latino film star, a safe cracker, an Indian bride-to-be, and a London DJ who is looking for more out of life.

Nomi receives devastating news after she falls unconscious during the pride march, while Kala's wedding to a man she doesn't love draws near. Things get complicated for Lito when he must fend off his co-star's advances, and Will is confronted by the mysterious Persian man.

Capheus finds himself in the middle of a desperate and dangerous situation after securing medication for his ailing mother, while Lito agrees to help Daniela with a personal problem. Riley seeks out an old friend, and Sun finds an outlet for her frustration.

Wolfgang and Felix attempt to sell their stolen gems, while Sun confronts her father about corruption inside the family company.
