Two months after the Visitors' arrival, citizens of Earth begin rioting in response to the red sky -- and silence from Anna. Ryan returns to Earth and helps Erica and Hobbes discover the real purpose of the red sky, and Chad visits Father Jack seeking redemption.

Erica and Anna both search for Fifth Column radicals after a series of suicide bombings. Anna uses Ryan's child to manipulate him into helping her, and Chad begins to use his influence against the Visitors.

Erica and the resistance capture Malik after learning she is a Visitor, and use her to try and rescue missing people Anna is taking as test subjects. Anna turns her eyes to Father Jack, and Lisa finds that her body is preparing to become the next queen.

An old friend of Erica arrives to help her investigate the Fifth Column -- beginning with Father Jack. Meanwhile, Anna invites the Catholic Church to bring their gospel to the Visitors, hoping to silence Jack's own message, and Erica and the others track down the radical faction of the resistance.

After Anna announces a building project to bring humans and Visitors together, the Fifth Column plans to assassinate her at a public gala. Anna and Erika play tug-of-war over Tyler's affections on his eighteenth birthday, revealing that the V's plans for him are accelerating.

After Ryan is captured in an attempt to kill Eli Cohn, Erika is caught in a stand-off between the FBI and the Fifth Column. Father Jack is stripped of his ordination by the Church, and Lisa makes a discovery.

Assuming control of the worldwide resistance movement, Erika goes looking for a doctor the Vs used with her and other pregnant women 18 years ago. Lisa seeks advice from her grandmother when Anna orders her to drop Tyler and "entertain" another boy.

The Fifth Column plots to thwart Anna's master plan by stealing a virus and infecting several of the live-aboards. Meanwhile Anna uses Ryan's daughter for her own ends, and Ryan attempts to escape the mothership.

The resistance uncovers the V's purpose behind the Concordia building projects, and try to sabotage the blue energy reactors to create public outcry. Anna attempts to bliss a human in hopes of pacifying Earth for invasion.

The Fifth Column allies itself with Diana in a plot to move against Anna, pretending to take Lisa hostage and demanding that Anna trade herself. Meanwhile, Anna hatches her new daughter in Lisa's image, and Erika finds out that her organization is not the only one working against the Vs.
