The Vampires seem to be the hot trend this year, whereas they were not considered so good the last year at the same ceremony. True Blood has won Best TV Show; Best Villain for Alexander Skarsgard; Best Horror Actor for Stephen Moyer and Best Horror Actress for Anna Paquin. Twilight has won Best Fantasy Movie; Breakout Performance for Taylor Lautner.

Denis O'Hare as Harold Holt in "Charlie Wilson's War"

Denis O’Hare has been cast as a series regular in the third season of HBO’s True Blood.

O’Hare will play the King of Mississippi.  His first appearance will occur early in the next season.

True Blood season 3 will air in the US Summer of 2010.

HBO’s True Blood has won an Emmy award for ‘Outstanding Casting For A Drama Series’.

The immensely popular series defeated Damages, Friday Night Lights, Mad Men and The Tudors to win the award.

Congratulations go to casting directors Junie Lowry Johnson and Libby Goldstein.
