Can an ad campaign save a canceled show? We’re about to find out, because Legend of the Seeker fans, hearing that the series wasn’t renewed for a third season, have raised nearly $10,000, and used some of it to purchase an ad in Daily Variety.
Poor Richard! He may never find happiness with Kahlan now! Unfortunately for viewers of the syndicated Legend of the Seeker, the series will not get a third season and has been canceled, according to EW.com’s Michael Ausiello.
Leave it to the producers of Legend of the Seeker to turn Star Trek: Enterprises‘ hottest Vulcan into an evil Sister wearing a hot red nun’s habit. Jolene Blalock, who played the Vulcan T’Pol, turns up this weekend on the syndicated Legend of the Seeker for a two-episode arc.
In this weekend’s episode, “Dark,” Richard’s (Criag Horner) off to be trained by the Sisters of the Light to get control of his inner wizard, while the rest of the heroes deal with the loss of their Seeker. During Richard’s challenging time with the Sisters, he runs into Blalock’s Sister Nicci, who isn’t exactly what she seems.
Legend of the Seeker, Season 2 Episode 7 ‘Resurrection’ will air after a holiday break on January 9, 2010 in US. The official synopsis for the episode reads:
Richard becomes an unwilling pawn in Mord’Sith Denna’s plot to control the throne Darken Rahl’s death left vacant.
