FlashForward‘s fiercest fans are not giving up on their favorite show. Not only are they shipping 20,000 friendship bracelets—similar to the one Joseph Fiennes’ character, Mark Benford, was given by his daughter on the series—to ABC Entertainment chairman Steve McPherson, but three days from now they’re planning to stage a blackout of their own.

According to Variety, fans of the show will assemble in front of ABC network and affilate offices in New York, L.A., Chicago, Detroit and Atlanta on June 10 and for 2 minutes and 17 seconds are going to pretend to be passed out—just like the 2-minute-17-second blackouts on FlashForward.

In the end, we didn’t need a flash-forward to see it coming, and I’m not talking about how the finale went down. ABC’s FlashForward started off all filled with our hope and expectations—and to the tune of 12.5 million viewers watching. However, fewer than 5 million people tuned in for the final episode, “Future Shock.” In many ways it was a very sad ending for the series.

Good news for Chuck and V fans! NBC has ordered a fourth season of Chuck and ABC has picked up V for a second season, The Hollywood Reporter’s LiveFeed.com reported. Both series are expected to get 13-episode orders.

Did you catch last night’s episode of FlashForward? If so, you must have felt pretty lonely. The series ratings fell to a new low, and we don’t have to leap ahead 2 minutes and 17 seconds to see what that could mean.

Finally, the show has stepped up its game; good actors, good action, and now a good plot line.

The characters on ABC’s FlashForward are getting increasingly tense as the big blackout date (the date almost everyone on the planet saw in a future vision when they blacked out for 2 minutes and 17 seconds) approaches. That date, April 29, just happens to be a Thursday, the same day that the series airs. It all seemed like karma to the producers … until they realized that the show’s April 29 vision date wouldn’t quite be able to match up to the real April 29.
