Are you ready for the new Who? The U.S. will finally get to see Matt Smith, the youngest Doctor ever and the 11th incarnation, as Doctor Who returns on BBC America, the network announced today. The BAFTA-winning drama will make its U.S. premiere on Saturday, April 17, not long after the U.K. broadcast.

Fan pays $31,100 for a Doctor Who Dalek, is exterminated

Not really, but somebody really did pay $31,100 for a prop Dalek from Doctor Who at a London auction yesterday, and someone else paid nearly $24,000 for another one.

What could be better than actor David Tennant, Doctor Who's the Doctor, interviewing the show's master re-imaginer, Russell T Davies? The two sat down and offered up a fascinating interview on BBC Radio 2 called Who on Who? With both Tennant and Davies bowing out of Doctor Who after this Saturday's finale special, "The End of Time: Part Two," it ended up being a very special conversation about all things Who, and some things Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures.

A couple big bits of news came out of the conversation. Both Davies and Tennant are headed for Hollywood, a big loss for British television. And The Sarah Jane Adventures has been picked up for a fourth "series" or season.

You can't keep Doctor Who's villainous Master down, apparently. As we head into the final two Doctor Who specials featuring David Tennant as the Doctor—"The End of Time, Parts One and Two"—the Doctor will run up against his old enemy, even though the Master (John Simm) died when we saw him last and the Doctor burned his body on a pyre. (Spoilers ahead!)

And at the end, Tennant regenerates into the 11th Doctor, Matt Smith. Just how remains to be seen, but it's hard to imagine the Master isn't responsible for his demise in some way.
