Eleven fans of the syndicated SF series Babylon 5 have donated a prosthetic mask used to transform the late actor Andreas Katsulas into the alien G'Kar to the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, N.Y.

Bruce Boxleitner, best known to genre fans as John Sheridan on "Babylon 5," will appear in a recurring role on "Heroes" during the show's next season, according to TV Guide. The character was initially intended to be something like Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain. However, the latest word is that Boxleitner's role has been reworked, and he will now spent most of his time interacting with one of the show's leading ladies. In related news, "Heroes" will add more new characters next season. Not much is known about these new faces, but NBC indicates that the show will continue to primarily follow "the core characters from the pilot." Starting ... well ... now, I've decided to experiment with the format of my column. Instead of being once a month, the column will come out twice a month. The second installment is a follow-up on the first, plus highlighting emails from readers and adaptation news. So, I hope you enjoy the new format. Without further ado ... ACT I – THE FOLLOW-UP I don't have much to add except that I missed three other good examples of endings: "Jericho," "Babylon 5," and "Flash Gordon." Many of you were curious why I didn't mention "Jericho's" season (crap, I mean series) finale. Well, I hadn't seen it yet. But I have now and wow, I can't believe how much they crammed into the episode, but yet it didn't feel rushed. There is still plenty of room for more episodes, but all the major story threads ...
