Network orders more episodes of show gearing up for mid-season launch
Syfy has handed out a 13-episode order to a U.S. version of the BBC show Being Human from RDF Media USA.
Being Human revolves around three twentysomething roommates — who happen to be a ghost, a vampire and a werewolf — as they help one another navigate the complexities of living double lives.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the year’s number one movie, had already become the top-selling home entertainment release of the year, with first-week sales of 7.5 million units, according to Home Media Magazine market research.
The sequel also became the biggest-selling Blu-ray Disc release of 2009, with first-week sales of 1.2 million units.

ABC's castaway drama series prepares to welcome back some familiar faces
As the time for Legend of the Seeker second season air date is coming closer, SyFy and Disney-ABC Domestic Television have decided to present a special Legend of the Seeker marathon event, where the viewers can watch six episodes from the first season in a row. The marathon will take place on Thursday, November 5 from 6 pm – 12 AM, ET/PT. Paranormal Activity was such a suprise hit for Paramount, that according to
LA Times, a sequel production is now in talks. Paranormal Activity had an increadibly low cost of $15,000 to produce and paid off in $62.5 million nationwide sales so far. That’s by far the biggest return on investment for Paramount Pictures possibly in it’s entire history.
