i’m not really a fan of the series or the movies although they were fun to watch. Still, with all the sequels and reboots, isn’t it time to do something new for sci-fi? Something more adult like BSG with possibly starting up new franchises like the Chronicles of Riddick , which had potential.
I do get that today movie exectives are really anxious to make risks when all they care is getting their money back. Instead treating your audience like morons, treat them as intelligent people who want to be entertained and want something entertaining in a way that doesn’t require them to shut their brains of.
