CBS and Paramount Home Entertainment have finally officially announced a release date and some details for the sixth ‘Star Trek Fan Collective’ DVD set. This time the theme is ‘Alternative Realities.’ The set will have 20 episodes (from all five Trek series) and is due out September 16th.

Wow. Before I say another word, anyone who has not watched this episode, stop reading now. It is going to be impossible to discuss this episode without revealing something of major importance. This was perhaps the most action-packed, meaningful episode of television I've watched all year. The pace was excellent, and the revelations were plentiful. The beginning deftly picked up where last season ended -- with Jack's discussing a possible return to the island with Kate -- after their rescue from the island. From there, a series of action-packed sequences follow which see Kate and Sayid help Ben escape, and Jack, Sawyer and Hurley reunited. Fans ...
